About
Earth Access Geoscience publishes short geoscience articles, generally by students and their faculty, that present high-quality data that might otherwise be lost among unpublished studies. The data published here are well-located in latitude, longitude, and elevation, have well-documented methods and analytical techniques, and include a meaningful discussion of the sample(s) and their usefulness to the overall field of study. We publish the generally unpublishable, provide a solid reference for future publications, and make it fully open access for others to use and cite. The scope of Earth Access Geoscience ranges from age-dating techniques to stratigraphic sections, from geochemistry to paleontology, from plate tectonics to other planetary bodies, from hurricanes to liquefaction, and everything in between or associated.
Articles are screened by the Editor and attested by the author's faculty advisor; the journal does not conduct peer review. Reading is free and open (CC BY 4.0). Authors pay one fee for the authoring platform at author.earthaccess.us; it covers the authoring service, not publication or acceptance. See Fees.
